Loch Lomond – “Pens From Spain” Video Premiere

HUSH is pleased to announce Loch Lomond’s seventh studio recording Pens From Spain will be released Sept 2.  Popmatters has the video premiere for the title track offering,

“Pens From Spain” twirls steadily through bells, ecstatic vocal harmonies, and careening strings, anchoring itself on plain fingerpicked guitar in the meanwhile. It’s sedate, carefully expanding folk, slowly but surely allowing light and color until the whole thing is in bloom.”

Peter Broderick – “Docile” Vinyl LP

1280x1280

I am pleased as punch to share with you this reissue of a very special album that has been out of print for the better part of a decade. Docile is a solo piano suite recorded May 6, 2007 originally released on 10” vinyl. It is a collection of compositions that is at once undeniably stirring and resonant. I’m not alone in my thinking either. Two out of the three top songs from Broderick’s Spotify repertoire are from Docile, garnering well over 3 million listens.

“Now a full decade into its existence, Loch Lomond is a band that has shaped the musical direction of the Portland, Oregon, music scene while also constantly challenging and redefining its own sound.
